One of the main tourist attraction in Chakrata is the Tiger falls which is located about 25 km from the town. This mesmerising waterfall can be reached by an easy 5km trek. Tiger falls is one of the highest waterfalls in India falling from a height of about 312 ft.
The place is an ideal destination for picnicking and photography. The scattered drops of this majestic waterfall are collected in a small pond making it a gorgeous location for taking a bath.
Located in an apple orchard near Koti village, 25 km drive from Chakrata, Kanasar ecolodge is a family-run eco-tourism initiative. The Eco-lodge has two cottages.
The two cottages are built in the modern adaptation of the traditional “Kath-Khuni” construction method, using stone and mud masonry with Deodar timber lacing and Chir Pine panelling inside.
Located at a distance of 2 km from Chakrata, Kimona falls is an untouched and unexplored beauty in. Hardly visited by visitors, Kimona waterfall has a height of 35 meters and surrounded by dense Oak forest.

Ram Tal Horticultural Garden is located 9 km from Chakrata on Chakrata-Mussoorie route. It is one of the popular attractions of Chakrata. Garden has a few trees of Apple, Plum and Rhododendron Burans trees. Lake close to the Garden stays dry the vast majority of the year yet worth going to in the blustery season.
Located about 29 km from Chakrata, Moigad falls is a beautiful natural waterfall. The waterfall is 50 metres high and is surrounded by dense forests. Milky water attracts tourists from all India and provides a refreshing bath.
The view of this fall is so beautiful. Best time to visit Moigad Fall is in summers, as in winters or storm, the streets are in awful condition or water is excessively cool.
