2021 board exams will be held only in offline mode: CBSE

 The Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday said that no final decision has been taken regarding the dates for the conduct of board exams 2021.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that annual board examination for students of classes 10 and 12 will take place in pen and paper mode and not online.

CBSE examination will be held in a written mode with all COVID-19 protocols in place.”Examinations will be conducted in the written mode, as usual. However, all COVID-19 protocols will be implemented without creating problems for the students. All students will not get equal facilities for online exams”, says Dr Joseph Emmanuel.

The CBSE Board has also said for students who are not able to appear for the practicals, alternatives will be explored.

However, the board is yet to decide on when the exams will be held.

The union education ministry will be consulting with the teachers, students and parents on December 10.

Earlier Nishank had tweeted that a campaign would be launched to seek views from students, parents & teachers on how and when to conduct the 2021 board exams.

“A campaign will be launched by the Ministry of Education to seek views from students, parents and teachers on how and when to conduct the exams next year”, he had tweeted.
